At the beginning of this book it started off as
boring, but when Ana meets Grim he gives her an option on rather she wants to
live by herself or to come work for Ernest aka the Grim. He promised that if
she agrees to trade her soul in for her families and she will be back with her
mom, dad, sister and brother. But there was a catch she had to serve a lifetime
as his novice. Plus she must listen to Grim and make the choice to save her
family or come to terms on what she is. but by the middle and the end it got really intense and there was a lot of action and adventure. I would recommend this book to everyone who is looking for a good SYFY series
